StopTech AreoRotor kits are designed to replace standard one piece rotors and work with the OE calipers. Kits include 2-piece directional floating rotors with directional billet aluminium AeroHats. The pre-assembled floating 2-piece rotors allow expansion without the disc coning. The kits are up to 3.5kgs lighter than stock rotors and push up to 61% more air for better cooling and reduced fade on the track.
StopTech has incorporated several design innovations to improve rotor airflow, cooling and heat capacity. The ability to absorb and dissipate heat is essential to braking system performance. The uniquely designed vanes inside the disc optimise airflow through the rotor. This improved directional design minimises turbulence and flows more air than any other rotor tested. Better airflow means better cooling and less fade.

AeroHat directional billet hats - A RACING FIRST
Outer rotor faces run hotter. The AeroHat has directional stand offs between the rotor and mounting bell (hat) that increase airflow to the outside faces of the rotor by 50-100%. Increased airflow reduces the temperature difference between the inside and outside faces of the rotor resulting in less distortion and better performance compared to other fully floating designs. Outer pad wear is reduced . AeroHat improves entire brake system airflow by up to 4%.
