Made to exacting standards in Germany, Pagid are famous for brake pad compounds which offer tremendous "feel" to the driver while being relatively easy on discs.
Pagid Competition disc brake pads are preferred at all levels of competition due to their unique blend of the most desirable characteristics required by a driver in a competition environment. They are noted for:
- Excellent cold performance
- Excellent modulation - can be taken to almost lockup and held at that point
- Fade free up to 650°C
- Not too harsh on road car discs
- A range of compounds for suitable for "fast road" and for the club racer up to V8 Supercars.
There are 5 main compounds available:
| |
 |
Pagid RS4-2 (Blue)The original Pagid compound, RS4-2 is the pad best suited for a combination of road use and club motorsport. It is the compound we recommend for Porsche, Subaru WRX etc. where the owner wants a pad with excellent cold temperature performance on the road, and excellent track performance combined with good "feel" RS4-2 is also the rally pad, used by most of the leading teams in the Australian Rally Championship. |

Pagid RS14 (Black)This is the race pad for most circuit applications from club car to V8 Supercar. RS14 offers outstanding performance with high friction, excellent feel for the driver, excellent modulation and is the most disc-friendly and driver-friendly of all the top level performance pads. RS14 has been used to win races in most Australian National Categories, including V8 Supercar, Super Touring, Nation's Cup, Porsche Cup, Formula Holden and the Australian Rally Championship. |

Pagid RS4-4 (Orange)RS4-4 is used mostly as a rear pad compound on a car where the majority of the braking is on the front axle, such as V8 Supercars and some production cars. It is very similar in characteristics and performance to RS4-2, but as it often produces slow speed squealing RS4-2 is preferred for applications involving road use.

Pagid RS19 (Yellow)RS19 is the new Pagid Endurance Racing pad that can also be successfully used in sprint races. It offers friction and temperature levels approaching RS14, but with longer pad life and better disc wear. It has won Sebring and Daytona 24 hour races, and in Australia has won Nation's Cup and the Australian Rally Championship.

Pagid RS15 (Grey)RS15 is the latest racing compound developed by Pagid. It offers 20% increased friction over RS14 and higher initial bite, while retaining the excellent modulation properties of RS14. It is available in all racing caliper shapes and in a limited (but increasing) range of standard pad shapes.
