Brake Pads - Endless
Endless is best known in competition for its unique Endurance Racing pads which were first made famous at Bathurst on the winning Larry Perkins car in 1995. Endless also produce a range of street / competition pads which have been used successfully in Rallying and in GT Production circuit racing.
They are noted for:
- Excellent cold performance
- Excellent modulation - can be taken to almost lockup and held at that point
- Fade free up to 800°C
- Good wear on discs
There are many compounds available, but those the most commonly used for excellent street performance are:
| |
SSS - Super Street SThis compound is designed to maintain stable and consistent braking performance and feedback even as rotor temperatures change. With the level of feedback and consistent braking performance, even novice drivers can take full advantage of their stopping power. **Suitable for all types of street use and even the occasional Track day. |
| |
SSM - Super Street MThis compound is known for its extremely low levels of dust, low noise levels and long life characteristics. Many consider this the highest grade brake type for street-type conditions. Very popular amongst car show users and high-end vehicle owners that care about maintaining clean wheels and an overall clean look. |
| |
CC-AThis compound is a ceramic carbon compound that provides maximum pedal feel. Designed to exhibit little to none of the negative characteristics that ceramic carbon compounds are known to have. Even though ceramic carbon compounds usually have low braking power at low rotor temperatures, CC-A can operate at low temperatures while producing minimal amounts of dust and noise. The CC-A pads do all this while still being friendly to rotors. **Suitable for all types of street use and even the occasional track day. |
| |
Type-RThis compound is designed for high speed street and circuit driving. Brake control and pedal feel has been enhanced without significant wear on brake rotors. The Type-R brake pads enable later confident braking on corner entry for improved lap times. |
| |
CC-XThis compound is proven to perform well on both street and track, this ceramic carbon metal based compound has the ability to perform over a wider range of temperatures. On the street at low temperatures, this pad performs well and is easier on brake rotors than most semi-metallic pads. Usually, semi-metallic pads sacrifice initial bite to perform better at higher temperatures, providing good pedal feel with a stable co-efficient of friction. | |
